Main objective of the collaboration is to use synergies in research and development which result in a new, market oriented technology.

Simplifying a primary battery to its main components, the system can be reduced to three parts, the anode, the cathode and the electrolyte. The physical processes are known. However, the three parts are still interesting subjects of research – particularly when taking into account latest opportunities given by international research on nano-technologies.

The radically new concept of the primary battery will allow various additional applications. This market relevant studies and analysis require a close interaction among researchers and businessmen. This communication is ensured by STM.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_column_text]Responsibility of STM:

  • coordinating the project work of three Romanian Research Institutes
  • coaching Romanian researchers in demand driven research
  • organising technology transfer to the involved SME from Austria
  • identifying additional funding opportunities
  • integrating new partners
